Meet Nadia Senchuk:

Nadia is part of the dynamic duo that makes up Leaning Post Wines. Husband and wife, Ilya and Nadia dared to dream about starting a wine label that showed off the very best of what Niagara can achieve.

The spark of the dream led to an obsession; dreaming each night of all the aspects of the winery… the name, the wines, the experience, the feeling when you walk through the door. The obsession led to putting concrete steps in place to achieve the dream.

“I remember one night after a few bottles of wine doing some back of the napkin math about starting the winery. It was the most naive napkin I’ve ever written on in my life, but it gave me the faith to push forward” 

The winery is now ten years old and has grown more than the pair could have ever imagined.  

Nadia started her career in commercial banking, then operations prior to taking the plunge to work solely for the winery. She is now a Certified Sommelier and leading a team of wine professionals in creating a wine experience like no other in Niagara. Great wines, passionate service, all with an unpretentious welcoming feel.
